Custom AI Solutions for Small Business

Some work does not fit a standard workflow. A custom interface, a choice of model, several stages of reasoning, or a tool that has to live inside your own systems. That is what this service is for.

These are built systems, scoped around your process. Not a catalogue, not a subscription product, and not something we claim to have already built for someone else.

What we build

Every engagement is different. These are the shapes the work usually takes.

Sales workflow assistant

Research, qualification and drafting, with a person approving anything that goes out.

Customer service assistant

Enquiry triage, answer drafting from your own material, and escalation when judgement is needed.

Operations assistant

Job status, scheduling exceptions, supplier chasing and internal notifications.

Document intelligence

Extracting structured data from contracts, forms, invoices and supplier paperwork.

Internal knowledge and search

Staff asking questions of your own procedures, policies and past jobs, with sources cited.

Reporting and decision support

Recurring reports assembled from several systems, with the reasoning shown.

Content workflow assistant

Brief to draft to review, with your tone and approval rules built in.

Examples of solutions we can build

Illustrations, not products on a shelf. Each one would be specified, built and tested for the business it is for.

Quote preparation tool

Reads an enquiry and site notes, assembles a draft quote from your price book, and routes it for approval.

Procedure assistant

Answers staff questions from your own documented procedures and flags where no procedure exists.

Invoice and document reader

Pulls supplier, date, line items and totals out of incoming documents and files them into the right system.

Multi-step enquiry handler

Classifies an enquiry, checks history, drafts a response and books a time, escalating anything unusual.

How a custom build runs

Specification first, always. Nothing is built until the scope is written down and agreed.

  • Discovery: what the system has to do, and what it must never do
  • Specification: interfaces, data, model choice, escalation rules, written and agreed
  • Prototype: the risky part built first, so we know it works before committing
  • Build: the full system, in a test environment
  • Integration: your systems, accounts and permissions
  • Testing: your real examples, plus the awkward ones
  • Deployment: staged, with a rollback path
  • Handover: documentation, training, and accounts in your name

What you receive

  • A written specification before build starts
  • The working system, integrated and tested
  • Documentation and a training session
  • Your own accounts and infrastructure, not ours locked shut

What we do not promise

  • That AI will remove a specific number of hours
  • That a system will never need human review
  • That it runs unattended forever without maintenance
  • That it replaces the people who currently do the work

How it is priced

Scoped and quoted after discovery. Custom work is priced on the specification, not on a menu, because the range of what can be asked for is too wide for a fixed number to be honest.

If the scope turns out to be a single workflow, we will say so and quote that instead. Ongoing support is available by quote and is scoped separately from the build.

Start with the problem, not the technology

Tell us what your team is doing by hand that it should not be, and we will tell you whether it needs a workflow, a custom system, or nothing at all.
